Fort Worth Pastor Returns To His Church After Coronavirus

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth pastor is now back on the job after recovering from a bout with the Coronavirus.

Reverend Robert Pace tells NBC 5 he feels so much better but it was a rough road for awhile.

Head pastor at Trinity Episcopal Church near TCU, Father Pace believes he contracted the virus after attending a conference in Kentucky in February. He started feeling ill five days after returning home but began to feel better.

However, after leading Ash Wednesday his fever returned the next day. He says in his 53 years he has never felt so ill.

Now recovered, though, he will lead his congregation again Sunday, although only through live-streaming because of Tarrant County's shelter-in-place order.
