Grand Prairie ISD is considering changing the start time for students to go to school.
This start times will affect middle and high school students, elementary student start times will remain the same.
Currently, GP middle school students start at 8:50am and are released at 4:15. The time change would start at 7:25am and are out at 2:50pm.
GP high schoolers currently start at 7:35am and out at 3pm. The change would let them start later at 8:45am and are out at 4:10pm.
GPISD school board were supposed to vote on it back on Tuesday, but says they need more feedback from students, parents and principals.
