Disney World Employee Arrested After Stealing Merchandise From The Theme Park

A man was accussed and arrested after allegedly stealing $7,000+ worth of merchandise from Disney World!

Former employee of Disney World, Patrick Allen Spikes, 24, posted pictures of the stolen merchandise on his social media. He was questioned after he posted pictures of "Buzzy", a missing character from a ride.

After seeing "Buzzy" from his Twitter account, he was later arrested.

Local police searched his home and found out that he had stolen wigs, skirts and jackets from the theme park.

He was also accussed of using his employee ID to get into the tunnels to retrieve the stolen items from the park's storage. 

According to records, he received $30,000 from a couple of buyers. One of the buyers returned, at least 18 stolen items back to the theme park.

Spikes was arrested and charged with burglary, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property.
