A school district in a small Texas town will have a 4-day school week starting the next academic year.
On April 18th, the Dime Box Independent School District, located 40 miles southwest of College Station, approved a 4-day school week for the 2019-2020 school year.
The school week will start on Tuesday, but Mondays are optional for students who want to attend. The only exception will be the Mondays during the month of August and STAAR testing.
