The Hometown Boys accordion player, Anthony Treviño, have parted ways from the band, according to his Facebook page.

"I would like to thank my family, friends, promoters, DJs and most of all THE FANS for over a decade of memories," he said on Facebook. "Unfortunately, my journey with The Hometown Boys has come to an end. You guys have made my life the greatest, everything I had ever set out to do, all my goals, my achievements, and my awards have all been because of you all and I'm forever grateful."

The band was formed in Lubbock, Texas and rose fame in the 90s. They have made their mark in the Tejano world by having blends of vocal harmonies, conjunto beat, and sharp, smooth accordion from Joe Martinez, (Martinez died of a heart attack at age 34).
