Father of the late Tejano singer, Selena, lawsuit against a television company has been dismissed.

Back in 2016, Abraham Quintanilla filed a lawsuit against Chris Perez, Blue Mariachi Productions (Perez's production company), and Endemol Shine Latino to block a new television series called "To Selena, With Love".

Quintanilla's legal team says that the TV series would violate estate properties that were signed between Perez and the Quintanilla family back in May 1995.

Perez's witness claims that he nor the production company were not under contract to sell "exclusive rights to the production company".

Currently, the lawsuit wasn't immediatly clear on how they will proceed next.
